# Public C++ buyer integration example

This optional development plugin uses Inventory Kit public headers. Copy this NativeBuyerExample folder to Plugins/IKBuyerIntegrationProbe in your existing development project and enable it, or adapt its provider/delegate methods into your game module and add InventoryKit to its dependencies. Build with the supported Unreal Engine 5.8 Win64 toolchain. No Inventory Kit source edits are required.

The two IKBuyerProbe automation workflows exercise activation, context dispatch, refusal, cleanup, preview bag copying and inventory persistence. Run Automation RunTests IKBuyerProbe in your development Editor when validating your adapted native integration. Example test execution does not substitute for your own gameplay and packaging checks.

Keep readiness read-only. CommitBuyerUse must not remove stock: Inventory Kit performs configured consumption after acceptance. Save failures must not repeat a committed effect. Your game owns production profiles, health saves, networking and asynchronous cancellation.

The probe uses temporary test saves and removes them on exit. Remove this optional probe plugin and its enabled project descriptor entry before distributing your game if you do not need it.
